You will find waterfront on Province Lake in both New Hampshire and Maine. Approximately 950 acres (380 ha) of the lake lie in the towns of Effingham and Wakefield, New Hampshire, with the remainder in Parsonsfield, Maine. Because the lake is so shallow, the water temperature stays pretty constant.
